Bell Choir

Bell-Choir-2

The Handbell Choir began on Christmas Eve in 1976. It was a memorial gift of 3 octaves of Schulmerich bells in memory of Michael Nelson. Over the years there were other gifts given so that we now have 5 octaves of bells and 4 octaves of chimes. The bell program has been an integral part of music and worship for many years. The choir practices from 6:30-8:00 on Thursday evenings. The choir plays on the 3rd Sunday of the month with extra contributions on some holidays. New members are welcome with hopefully some music background. The director will be glad to work with anyone on a one-to-one basis to get started.

To learn more about how you can be involved with the bell choir contact the church office.
